Eric Wilson II Funeral Home Manager/FDIC

Eric Wilson II is a native Houstonian and a graduate of Spring High School where he was an All-State quarterback and a leader in the community. Eric went on to attend the University of Houston where he also played football with the Houston Cougars. Born into a family that owned multiple funeral homes, Eric developed his passion of giving and service at a young age. Eric is a second generation funeral director who learned the funeral business from his father who is also a well-known and respected funeral director in the Houston area. With over 25 years of experience in the funeral service industry and a wealth of wisdom passed down from his father, Eric demonstrates a passion for service excellence while serving each family with the utmost dignity and respect. Eric is married to his loving and devoted wife, Jaleesa, who is also a funeral director in the Houston area. In his free time, Eric enjoys exercising, watching sports and traveling with his wife. Eric is the ultimate team player and leads by example.

Steve Mattison plays a dual role at Woodlawn helping families at their time of need as a licensed funeral director, and assisting many families as a licensed agent for preneed planning. In his former role, Steve served as Family Services Counselor. Mr. Mattison graduated from the Dallas Institute of Mortuary Science in 1974 after attending Northeastern State University and Central Oklahoma University. At the Dallas Institute he graduated with honors and is a member of Pi Sigma Eta national honor fraternity.
After his graduation, Mr. Mattison became licensed as an embalmer and funeral director serving families in Shreveport, Louisiana. After serving three years in the profession Steve left for many years to work in the healthcare equipment and pharmaceutical industries. He is the former president of Primacare Mid-Atlantic in Baltimore, MD, and a corporate vice president of strategic planning the Capital Health Management Group in Charlotte, NC. Steve returned to the funeral service profession at Woodlawn eleven years ago and states that returning has been the best decision he has ever made, as it truly is a calling for most who enter this field.
Steve and his wife, Susan make their home in Houston and have two grown children, Carie Ann and Steve, Jr. “Chip”. In addition, the Mattison’s enjoy their beloved Westie, Stuey. Mr. Mattison calls St. Jerome Catholic Church in Spring Branch his home parish. Mr. Mattison, being a native Oklahoman, supports his Oklahoma Sooners football team and is a huge Astros fan!

Cora McLean graduated with honors from Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Services and has been a funeral director and embalmer in the Houston area for many years. Orginally from West Virginia, she also holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in Sociology from Marshall University. In her free time, Cora enjoys traveling, watching movies and going to the beach.

Belinda Ridgeway is a loving Christian mother of 7 who has been with Woodlawn Funeral Home for 5 1/2 years. Belinda is very much a  family-oriented person and finds peace in helping others in their time of need. Belinda currently works as a Family Service Counselor and is currently in school working to become a funeral director. In her down time, Belinda enjoys watching TV and spending time with family.

Shae has been with the Woodlawn family for over five years and is currently serving as a Family Service Counselor. Shae's focus is on helping families as she assists them with burial plans for a loved one that has passed away or the purchase of cemetery space for future use. When she's not helping families, Shae enjoys spending time with her young son, Ayden, and writing.
