Office Phone: (844) 291-2610 | Fax: (713) 682-3899

Jawaan Alexander is a native of New Iberia, Louisiana and a resident of Houston, Texas. Mr. Alexander received his calling at a young age to aid families experiencing the loss of a loved one. On December 28, 2005, he began his career in the funeral industry in Louisiana. In June of 2007, Mr. Alexander graduated from Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Services with an Associates of Applied Science with Honors and Distinction and became licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Funeral Directors and Embalmers. Due to his love for the city of Houston, Mr. Alexander returned in February of 2009 and has been a resident of Houston and a licensed embalmer and funeral director with the Texas Funeral Service Commission ever since. He has gained much experience with assisting families in arranging a fitting farewell for their loved ones. This experience came from not only the eagerness to help families and having personally experienced dozens of loved ones to pass away. As unfortunate as these losses may have been, Mr. Alexander credits his ability to understand and surpass the needs and wants of families he serves to his personal losses which allows him to not only sympathize but empathize with families during their loss. Mr. Alexander is a member of St. Stephen's United Methodist Church where he serves as an usher and church council member and The Houston Area Urban League Young Professionals. Putting God first in everything he does, he believes if he can help somebody as he passes along the way, if he can cheer someone with a word or deed, then his living has not been in vain.
